About the university

Kurukshetra University’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), established in 1976, is one of India’s oldest distance-education institutions, serving over 20,000 students across 40 programmes. Its degrees are UGC-DEB approved and valid for government jobs, private employment, and further study. NAAC-accredited (A++, CGPA ~3.56) and placed in NIRF 2025’s 101–150 Overall band (35th among state public universities). Programmes span BBA, B.Com, BA, MBA, MCA, M.Com, and MA across both online and distance modes.
